Weather Delays Downhill Men’s and Women’s Training Runs Today

GIRDWOOD, ALASKA – March 25, 2009 – The Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships men’s and women’s training runs scheduled today at Alyeska Resort are postponed due to weather.

“The forecast is calling for six to 18 inches of snow today, ” said Larry Daniels, vice president of Alyeska Resort Development Company and event chair for the 2009 U.S. Alpine Championships. “We are monitoring weather conditions and will providean updated race schedule later today.”
