The Candidates Are In – ACVB Board Of Directors Election 2009
The ACVB Board of Directors has approved the following slate of candidates, as prepared by the Nominations & Elections Committee, for the 2009 election. There are 12 candidates for six seats, each a three-year term. Designated Membership Representatives will receive their ballots in early December.
ACVB By-Laws state the following: "An additional candidate(s) may be nominated by petition signed by not less than fifteen percent (15%) of the Designated Representatives in good standing with the Bureau, and filed with the Bureau within fifteen (15) days after the notification date of the Board slate of candidates."
Publication date for E-Blast to membership is November 4, 2008; next board meeting is November 20, 2008. Deadline to file nomination by petition is noon, November 19, 2008.
