Committee Seeks Candidates for ACVB Board
The Anchorage Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) Board of Directors, through its Nominations & Elections Committee, is seeking members in good standing who wish to be considered for a seat on the ACVB board.
Directors serve three-year terms, which are staggered so that six to seven of the board’s 20 elected seats become available for election each year.
Individuals interested in the Committee’s criteria for board candidates should contact Yael Kaufman, the Committee Chair, through Angela Arturo, 257-2345, aarturo@anchorage.net by August 8, 2008.
Questionnaires will be sent to candidates at the end of August. The Committee will review all packets and recommend a slate for full board approval in October. The official ballot will be mailed to designated voting members in December, with new board members to begin their terms in January 2009.
