Alaska's 50th Anniversary Concert for the Military

Friday, June 27, 2008, 7:00 p.m. - Wynonna Judd performs a FREE concert at Elmendorf Air Force Base. Nashville's most recognizable redhead lands in Anchorage to kick off the Anchorage Statehood Celebration "We're in Weekend" festivities as part of Alaska's 50th Anniversary of Statehood.

Saturday, June 28, 2008, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Get Down Downtown with a trip back to the fabulous fifties. Four entertainment stages will feature some of Alaska's finest musicians and performers. This full day of free family entertainment also features the Firefighters Combat Challenge - a competition simulating the essential skills of firefighting.
