"Big Wild National Parks" Monthly Luncheon
Guest speaker Vic Knox, acting Alaska Regional Director for the National Park Service, will give an overview of Alaska’s national parks operations and touch specifically on topics under way for 2008.
Topics include: the upcoming Centennial of the National Park Service and new programs that are involved; the opening of a new visitor center in Denali; work both complete and underway regarding access in and across national parklands and much more.
