Curry Ridge Action Needed Today!

ACVB's Board of Directors has passed a resolution in favor of the development of the Curry Ridge Project in Denali National Park. Initial funding for this project is currently in the state capital budget awaiting the signature of Governor Palin.

As a member of the tourism industry, your input regarding this key legislation is essential in ensuring that this important project remain in the budget. Please consider sending a brief message to the Governor 's Office requesting that this critical piece of legislation remain in the budget.

Why is Curry Ridge important to Southcentral tourism?

  • Curry Ridge offers an alternative entrance to Denali State Park that is closer to the population base and would help to alleviate crowding in a much visited part of the state.
  • Curry Ridge will provide a winter Denali experience for both residents and visitors
  • The Curry Ridge site has the support of local residents and communities.
