Summer in the City
Summer is in full swing, take Visiting Friends and Relatives (VFRs) to some of the great events happening in Anchorage.
Play ball - catch the Anchorage Bucs and Anchorage Glacier Pilots in action! Find their schedules online at www.anchoragebucs.com and www.glacierpilots.com - Or, pick up a game schedule at the Log Cabin Visitor Information Center downtown at 4th and F.
Music more your style? Check out Downtown Summer in the City - free live musical and theatrical performances, Noon - 1 p.m. at Peratrovich Park on 4th and E.
Feel like dancing? Catch free performances of the Alaska Native Heritage Center dancers at Ship Creek Center daily, 11 a.m. and 1:10 p.m.
Shop till they drop. Take VFRs to shop, eat and explore some Alaska Made (tm) and Alaska Grown (tm) products and wares at the Saturday / Sunday Market and Festival, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. until Sept. 9, 2007, located at 3rd and E Street across from the Hilton Anchorage.

Bear Paw Festival!
