Calling Volunteers!
Community volunteers are essential to hosting the best NCAI Mid-Year Conference to ever take place. Quyanaa (thank you) to all of the volunteers who have signed up and committed their time, energy and talents in welcoming hundreds of American Indian and Alaska Natives from across the United States to Alaska.
We need more than 100 volunteers to make the conference a success. To view a list of the volunteers needed for the conference and short descriptions of their duties, please click on the volunteer descriptions below. Training & Orientation
Proper training and orientation of volunteers ensures the efficient use of volunteers’ precious time. There will be two volunteer training sessions held. Some volunteer activities will also call for Job Specific Training and a Venue Walk-through.
Volunteers should plan to attend one of the following orientations:
- 12 - 1 p.m., Monday, June 4th (lunch will be served) or
- 12 - 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 6th (lunch will be served)
Schedule and Name Badge pick up
After completing the volunteer application, you will be able to pick up your schedule and name badge during the volunteer training that you sign up for.
Egan Center
The mid-year conference will take place at the Egan Convention Center. The Egan Center is located at 5th Avenue between E Street and F Street.
