The Pulse of Anchorage
Anchorage stages pulse 365 days a year with world-class performing arts, classical and pop music, dance and theater. Locals may not know that the Anchorage Concert Association presents a great forum for residents to get up close and personal with the world's finest performers and productions.
Throughout the year, Master Classes, lectures, demonstrations and community workshops with visiting artists are held in local elementary schools, high schools, universities, community centers and in partnership with other arts organizations.
This month enjoy a pre-performance talk with I Musici from Rome! Learn more about the production from local expert Laura Koenig and two members of I Musici, 3 p.m Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006. Local dancers, singers, musicians and actors are invited to take a Master Class with the cast of the Flying Machine's Frankenstein, 6 - 7:30 p.m., Wednesday Oct. 25, 2006.
