Some of our favorite Anchorage day tours include:

Grand Tour of Anchorage
On the "Grand Tour" you will join a longtime Alaskan for an introduction to Alaska's largest city. Complete with a fascinating historical overview, weather and economic facts, and multiple photo stops.

26 Glacier Cruise
Travel over 135 miles into Prince William Sound aboard the Klondike Express, a high-speed catamaran, to see 26 "named glaciers" and many more unnamed. Approach within 500 feet from the face of these towering walls of ice and "hear" the glaciers move, watch for calving and see the brilliant blues in the ice. You may also have the opportunity to view sea otters, seals, porpoises, sea lions, eagles and whales while you enjoy relaxing in a comfortable heated cabin.

Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise
Kenai Fjords National Park and Resurrection Bay are abundant in marine wildlife and ice-blue tidewater glaciers. See harbor seals, otters, sea lions, and various species of whale. There are over 100 species of birds flourishing in the area, from the majestic Bald eagle to the beloved puffin, and a spectacular Steller sea lion colony. This 110-mile journey (177 km) by cruise features the ultimate wildlife viewing experience.

Mt. McKinley Flightseeing Tour
This flightseeing tour takes you within six miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit. View the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge and the massive south face of Mt. McKinley.

Knik Glacier Flightseeing Tour
This flight will take you over the expansive Knik Glacier rimmed with spectacular hanging glaciers. Sense the motion of the ice and see how it has shaped the land, then fly over the winding Knik Glacier Gorge.

To further enhance your visit, we recommend including an overnight or multi-day adventure. Suggested pre and post tour options include:

Homer Bear Viewing Adventure
Your adventure includes a scenic drive to Homer, known as “the end of the road,” overnight accommodations, and an air journey to Katmai National Park. Glimpse some of the estimated 4,000 brown bears that inhabit this immense park. Perhaps include a visit to local museums, art galleries, or go fishing in the halibut capital of the world!

Talkeetna Adventure
Don't miss your chance to experience this quaint town that serves as the base camp for climbers attempting to scale Mt. McKinley. Optional activities could include Mt. McKinley flightseeing, jetboat safari tour, or dog sledding adventure (weather permitting).

South to Seward
Travel south on a National Scenic Byway, to the seaside town of Seward. Visit the Alaska SeaLife Center, a marine science facility. Learn about Alaska's marine life and have an up-close experience with Steller sea lions, puffins, seals and more! Embark on a day cruise into Resurrection Bay or Kenai Fjords National Park to view spectacular scenery, birds, sea mammals and snow-capped glaciers. Day or overnight tour.
