Alaska Glacier & Wildlife Cruises
View spectacular tidewater glaciers in the calm waters of Prince William Sound or beautiful Kenai Fjords National Park. Listen to the thunderous roar of a glacier calving from a 1,000-foot wall of brilliant blue ice, as it crashes into the waters below. Search pristine waters and miles of coastline for Alaska wildlife.
Tours depart from Seward (year-round) or Whittier (summer only), and transportation is most often available from Anchorage. A full array of full and half-day glacier and wildlife cruises are offered. Most tour boats provide a prepared lunch and a captain and crew who enjoy telling tales of Alaska's wild waters.
Whittier is the jumping-off point to the scenic 15,000 square mile (9,000 sq. km)
Prince William Sound, a spectacular
mix of tidewater glaciers, rainforests and towering mountains.
Seward is a small port town alive with a busy harbor and colorful shops. Most activities here are centered around the awe-inspiring Resurrection Bay and the Kenai Fjords National Park.
Kenai Fjords National Park boasts an abundance of marine and land wildlife. Humpback whales, Orcas, Dall sheep, Porpoise, Steller sea lions, sea otters, seals, black bears, and moose, along with more then 80 different species of birds populate the Park.
