Holiday Cheer! Monthly Membership Luncheon

Join us for our annual holiday luncheon! Members of the Girdwood 2020 Board will give an update and in depth look at how the group is working with the local community to turn Girdwood into a four season destination through environmentally responsible development. Learn the latest on the development of the Glacier Summit and Winner Creek Project as well as what infrastructure and community projects are slated for Girdwood.

It's also our opportunity to show our appreciation to ACVB's volunteers who give their time helping as many as 1,300 visitors a day in our Information Centers. Members can say thanks by hosting a meal for a volunteer at the luncheon. To sponsor a volunteer call Anita at 257-2322.

Students from Central Middle School will also collect food donations. Bring a turkey or ham and get in free, or get $3 off in exchange for 3 cans of food. If you are paying online and want to receive the discount for bringing canned goods, select the Non-member price of $15.

7th Annual Visitor Industry Holiday Break Job Fair

Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Egan Center

Don’t get caught short-handed next summer! Start filling slots by participating in this event that reaches college students, teachers and job seekers who are home for the holiday break. Over 500 potential employees visited last year's fair. Registration fee includes a six-foot table, chairs, event advertising in local news and flyers to West Coast colleges and local high schools. In addition, company contact information will be included on a flyer for all job seekers.
