Getting There is Easy
The Alaska Railroad, which connects Seward to Fairbanks, and Lake Hood, the world’s busiest floatplane base, bring the most pristine and remote areas in Alaska closer to Anchorage.
The Glenn Highway, a National Scenic Byway, heads north from Anchorage towards the Mat-Su Valley.
The Seward Highway, an All-American Road, runs right along scenic Turnagain Arm from Anchorage to the Kenai Peninsula.
