![]() The wild and wacky salmon of the 2005 Wild Salmon on Parade are just a few short weeks from reaching their spawning grounds! Don’t miss the chance to take home your favorite wild Alaska salmon at the Fish Fry and Buy Dinner Auction, Sept. 9, 2005, 5:30 p.m. – Midnight at the Hilton Anchorage. Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge recently opened up space for the rest of the season with rooms available almost every night. Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge, located 1 mile from the entrance of Denali National Park offers riverside lodging, overlooking the Nenana River. For more information, call 800-426-0500. Tanguy Libbrecht has been promoted to Director of Sales & Marketing at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel. Libbrecht has been with the hotel since 1998 and has served in various capacities from Catering Sales Manager to Business Travel Sales, and most recently as Director of Catering. Motherlode Lodge in Hatcher Pass will be open seven days a week through Labor Day. Hours are noon to 9 p.m. for the casual menu. ITC Travel & Tours has announced special airfares and package fares on Northwest Airlines’ non-stop service to Maui. Northwest will operate three-times weekly service through Aug. 20, 2005 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. AAA Alaska announced that the Alyeska Prince Hotel and the Resort’s signature mountain top restaurant, the Seven Glaciers Restaurant and Lounge, have again received AAA Four Diamond honors. The Alyeska Prince Hotel is the only hotel in Alaska with the Four Diamond designation. Earl E. “Buddy” Whitt III has been promoted to Director of Catering at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel.
