Glide along world-class Nordic ski trails in Anchorage, Alaska, during the 2008 Tour of Anchorage – a premier ski marathon and tradition for Nordic skiers of all abilities.
The Tour of Anchorage is part of the American Ski Marathon Series (ASM), North America's longest-running and largest citizen's racing and touring series. Whether beginner, weekend warrior, casual tourer or professional racer, every ASM event offers a thrilling chance to be part of a nationwide series of adventure, winter festivals and fun.
Race Information
Organized locally by the Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage, the Tour of Anchorage marathon consists of four cross-country ski races – a 25 km classical race and 25 km freestyle, 40 km and 50 km freestyle races. The course begins at various locations across Anchorage, follows groomed trails through spectacular wooded settings along the coast of Cook Inlet, and finishes up at Kincaid Park.
