Saturday, March 5, 2005 Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race 4th Avenue and D Street, Downtown Anchorage, 10:00 a.m. Starting Line Tours at 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. Mushers and 1,000 dogs dash toward the Bering Sea coast through rugged remote mountain ranges, snow-capped forests and frozen lakes.
