This interactive tool allows members access to their ACVB account information 24 hours per day. Update contact information, change publication listings, RSVP to membership events, submit specials and packages for display and download images for promotional use.
Members can also use www.Anchorage.net to connect to travel agents and tour operators by indicating they offer a commission - viewed only by ACVB travel trade clients.
Post Hot Internet Specials – Free
Get added exposure for an existing or new special through www.Anchorage.net. A “specials” icon appears with participating member category listing(s). Members can also target locals by offering an Alaska Resident Discount Rate.
Post Trip Packages on Anchorage.net – Free
ACVB members can post trip packages that include at least three nights in Southcentral Alaska, two of which are in Anchorage, at no cost. When visitors locate the package they want to purchase, they simply click through to the member’s Web site and book direct.
Seymour of Anchorage
Anchorage’s symbol of hospitality is Seymour of Anchorage. He and the “Wild About Anchorage” slogan and theme music were developed in 1981 as part of ACVB’s community pride campaign.
ACVB uses Seymour to build community support for the visitor industry by participating in community events. Staff and volunteers organize events such as National Tourism Week, the Torchlight Ski Parade and Seymour Fun Run. ACVB staff donates time and talent to many local organizations and events including the Anchorage School District, as part of the School Business Partnership, and youth-oriented events.
Seymour and the rest of the “Critter Chorus Line” (beaver, eagle, ram and brown bear) and the “Wild About Anchorage” theme song are available for special community events. Call (907) 276-4118 for details.
Convention Welcome Signs - Free
These signs welcome large conventions by name in member businesses. They are mailed out to all members who request them. Members place the signage in their business windows to encourage convention delegates to patronize their businesses.

“Wild About Anchorage” buttons are available to members for promotional use.
